Krohn, historically known as Wiese & Krohn, is a Port house founded in 1865 by the Norwegian cousins Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn. Its identity is particularly associated with Colheita and other long cask-aged Ports, while Vintage Port forms the second major pillar. Since 2023, the brand and Quinta do Retiro Novo have belonged to WineStone Group.

Wiese & Krohn was established in 1865. The first recorded shipments followed in 1867 to Stockholm, Copenhagen and Eindhoven. In 1880 Theodor Wiese sold his share to Dankert Krohn. The official chronology records the first Vintage in 1927 and the first Colheita in 1931. Krohn bought Quinta do Retiro Novo in 1989. The Fladgate Partnership acquired Krohn in 2013; in 2023 WineStone Group acquired both the brand and the estate.
Quinta do Retiro Novo lies near Sarzedinho in the Rio Torto valley of Cima Corgo. The A-rated estate combines old granite lagares for foot treading with modern stainless-steel lagares and robotic extraction.
Krohn is especially associated with Colheita, a single-harvest Port matured for long periods in wood. The range also includes Tawny, White and Vintage Port. The Vintage wines are closely linked to Quinta do Retiro Novo and are intended for long bottle ageing.
Its Norwegian origins, early Scandinavian export focus and later Douro estate ownership illustrate the international character of the Port trade. Krohn is particularly notable for its old cask stocks and Colheita tradition.
