Poças is a Portuguese family producer of Port and Douro wines founded in 1918 and still owned by the same family. The house is now run by the fourth generation and owns Quinta das Quartas, Quinta de Santa Bárbara and Quinta Vale de Cavalos.

Port formed the foundation of the house. Poças emphasises more than a century of continuity across four family generations. In 1988 the family acquired Quinta Vale de Cavalos in the Douro Superior, supporting the development of its own DOC Douro wines. For the centenary, Poças 1918 Very Old Tawny was assembled from especially old cask reserves.
Quinta das Quartas is near Peso da Régua, Quinta de Santa Bárbara is in Ervedosa do Douro and Quinta Vale de Cavalos is near Numão. The latter has around 45 hectares of vineyards at about 520 metres altitude, with a transition between schist and granite soils. Classic red Douro varieties are used for red Ports, while regional white varieties are used for White Port.
Poças produces Ruby, Tawny, White, LBV, Vintage, Colheita and White Colheita. Wood-aged Tawnies of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years are particularly important. Poças 1918 Very Old Tawny demonstrates the depth of the house's old cask reserves.
Continuous Portuguese family ownership distinguishes Poças from many historic Port brands. The house combines classic Port ageing with an independent DOC Douro wine programme and three owned estates.
